16 year – old Zoe Rowbotham has not been seen by family members for almost three days now. The Texas Department of Public Safety issued an Amber Alert Tuesday afternoon, but no new reports have been released. Zoe lives in Hurst, Texas, less than 20 minutes from Fort Worth. Her adoptive parents, Andre and Cristina Rowbotham told news outlets they last saw her Sunday night, Andre further detailing “Zoe went for a walk up a hill near Rickel Park in Hurst on Sunday, but I dropped by home quickly and told Zoe to meet me at the top of the hill. But when I got there, she was gone”.

The distraught parents expressed concern for their daughter’s life but have no idea where she is. Her mother went on to say, “I don’t know where she is, and I don’t know if someone is hurting her,” said Cristina. “I know, from having her for four years, that is such a distinct possibility. Hinting Zoe may have had a tough childhood before she was adopted.
Zoe was supposed to move to a nursing home in Arkansas to better accommodate her special needs but her parents believe she was anxious about the move, so she ran away.
