If you have not done already your chance is coming up. On March 8th 3 to 5.00pm you can at the Tarrant County International Women’s Day Unite and Resist Event.

On two Saturdays you can join us for the Cesar and Dolores March and Rally Dallas will be on March 22nd, Fort Worth Saturday the 29th.  The next day on Sunday you can join the Raza from Dallas and from around the state for the Mega March for immigration rights and justice at 1.00pm. Watch this space for more information.

That is just the ones I know about today, Pero I am sure there is more. In fact, you need not wait for a big event, you can Stand Up at a commissioner’s court meeting, city council or even a school board meeting. There is no shortage of places where your voice is needed if you believe in fairness and justice.

Now if you are like me and many of our follow citizens you are especially concerned about what is going on the Federal level. For this you can travel to Washington to have your voice heard there, can’t’ do that? How about calling your congressperson or senator, we can all do this. Some believe in sending emails, which is something Pero believes the call is better.

The point I hope to convey here is that if you do not like what you see and hear coming from the Trump administration Speak Up! Far too many in our own community felt that if they just ignored a problem, it would go away. Well as we can all see it did not, in fact it has become even more dangerous. And this time it has added a Nazi saluting imbecile as a sidekick or as a puppet master.

Ahora (now) if you are happy with what you see as I have read some comments on social media praising Trump by posting “Promises made, promises kept” Well as I have said before that is your right but I don’t think I will ever understand. And honestly, I am glad I do not. I would like to know what you think?
