Abortion is a pretty controversial topic for many. Such a controversial issue really should be the women’s decision. I’m a pro-abortionist and I believe if a woman doesn’t want to have a baby, she should not. Today, men have an opinion about what women should do with their bodies and that idea is absurd. The question we must ask ourselves is: Why do men make laws about what a woman should or should not do?

Rape is one of the main reasons I am in favor of abortion rights. Men have a huge responsibility when it comes to why women want to have abortions and that is because they are sex offenders. Most women don’t want a baby with someone who raped them. Sometimes in life tragic things like rape happen and we must be prepared to act. Would you still have the baby even though it causes you trauma to think about the tragic event?

Many people are against abortion because they go against their religion. However, not every person you meet has the same beliefs. Another argument pro-life people give is that abortion deprives the fetus of a future. This is completely ridiculous because fetuses have no emotions. If abortion becomes illegal, there would be a high demand for adoption and foster homes.

Overall, I think women should have the option to do whatever they want with their bodies. Being pro-choice means that everyone gets what they want. Legalizing abortion would save older girls and women a lot of issues. Whatever the case scenario is, women should have the option to have an abortion.
