En los últimos años Denton se ha convertido en una de las ciudades de más rápido crecimiento en Texas. Uno de los lugares más populares para visitar es el restaurante LSA Burger, que es un restaurante local y famoso por sus deliciosas hamburguesas y papas fritas. Ofrece excelentes comidas caseras y el ambiente es muy divertido y animado con empleados y clientes amables. El mejor tiempo para visitar este lugar es por la noche o en las noches que tienen música en vivo, realizadas por bandas y cantantes únicos.

Otro lugar excelente es Recycled Books; una librería de segunda mano situada en una esquina de la plaza. Esta ofrece una amplia selección de libros, películas, álbumes de música y otra diferente mercancía. Recycled Books es un lugar fantástico si quieres un libro nuevo o simplemente quieres ver algunos de los sitios históricos de Denton.

La última parada que debes hacer si estás en el centro, es Free Play. Éste es un lugar antiguo donde pagas una entrada y puedes jugar cualquier juego de consola de su selección de cientos de ellos. Éste es un gran lugar para llevar a la familia, divertirse e incluso revivir viejos recuerdos con juegos de Pac Man y Donkey Kong.

Como mencioné antes, Denton está creciendo constantemente. Si alguna vez te encuentras en el centro de la ciudad sin nada que hacer, no dudes en explorar algunas de estas recomendaciones.

Denton’s Downtown Square Attractions

In the last couple of years, Denton has grown into one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas. This is mainly because UNT and TWU are in the heart of the city. It has become known not only for its student life but also for its popular downtown and fun activities to do. The historic downtown Square is comprised of many restaurants and shops. 

One of the most famous places to visit is a local restaurant called LSA Burger, which is known for its delicious hamburgers as well as French fries. It offers excellent home-cooked meals, and the ambiance there is very fun and lively with kind people. A great time to visit this place is in the evenings or nights when live music concerts are performed by unique bands and singers. 

Another place to explore is the Recycled Books shop, a second-hand bookstore located on the corner of the Square. This store offers a wide selection of books, movies, music albums, and much more. Recycled Books is a great place to stop if you want a new book or just want to see some of Denton’s historic sites.

The last stop you should make if you are in the Square, is Free Play. This is a retro arcade that allows you to pay an entrance fee and play any game you want from their selection of one hundred games. This is a great place to take the family, have fun, and even relive memories of old games like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.
