The past election has revealed racism and prejudice. Those kinds of feelings are dangerous and can harm many good people. Take for example Jesus Christ, the Messiah, our Lord and Savior.

One of the main reasons Jesus was rejected by the Jewish Pharisees was due to prejudice. They could not accept that the Messiah would be a Nazarene. They believed the Messiah was supposed to come from the upper class of the Jewish nation, thus they did not listen to him.
They also believed the Messiah was supposed to create a new kingdom that would take over government powers and place it under Jewish rule. Jesus did not do that even though he could have if he wanted to. No, he came to create another kind of Kingdom and that is the Kingdom of his Church. His Church is a spiritual kingdom by which we can come to his love and gain eternal life.
Here in the U.S. A. there are many people of different religions and faith. The government must be able to rule the masses equally without prejudice. It should not enforce beliefs or form of worship upon another group that is different.
Those people who do not know of God’s Kingdom will find out about it because here in America we have religious freedom. We have freedom of speech and they are going to hear about God from us Christians. To be a member of God’s kingdom requires us to want to be with God because we want to and not because some law makes us do it.
Jesus came to earth to save the souls of mankind. He gave us a Commandment which says, “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another”. Jesus’s Kingdom includes every nation, every race of all mankind. We are all his creation and he love us all.
We must be willing to do more than just come to church service for an hour each week. We must help people learn about God. We can do that if we follow Jesus’s teaching and then live that life. Then the actions we do and the things we say are examples of being Christian and is also a form of evangelizing. We can make people desire to be like Christians and also learn about our true faith. This will lead them to convert to Christianity.
The new immigrants coming from the Middle East are being exposed to a Christian nation. What are they finding? Is it one of hate or one of love that is inclusive of everyone? How will these people know what Christians are? If we show them Love, well they will know who we are by our Love. Love is the rule of God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
