With a hard-fought win over the Chargers, it is time for the first divisional game of the season. So, this brings us to those dang Eagles and their fans who all look like extras in a Rob Zombie movie.

Yes, this is a familiar foe but with a new Head Coach Nick Sirianni and other new faces I expect a tough game. Both teams are 1-1 and both could easily be 2-0. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts knows how to win and is a good leader having watched him in college and the N.F.L. he will just keep getting better, but hopefully not this week. Philadelphia has been hit with the injury bug having lost key players for an extended period of time on both sides of the ball. Let’s not feel too bad since we have injuries of our own in key positions.

I’m hearing a lot of fans around Cowboys Nation saying they expect a slaughterhouse. We need to remember this is a division game and they look much better than expected. Dallas can’t let Hurts kill them with his legs or the long pass. Our offense needs to run the ball like last week and eat up the clock, but Christ on a bike please cut out the penalties! If they can clean that up as well as the coaching being sharper. Especially, their not so special special – teams.

On a personal note, my son-in – law is an Eagles fan, and I don’t want to see him gloat. So come on Dallas help me make my son – in – law sad on his birthday! As always please feel free to reach out to me with feedback and opinions.
