On Sunday August 20th Friends and supporters gathered at La Gran Plaza to celebrate the historic election of Jeanette Martinez. Among those celebrating was Juan Perez with the United Hispanic council and Fernado Flores which were in large part responsible for the creation District 11. Also, in attendance local elected officials like Roman Romero, Sergio Deleon, Anael Luebanos and others.

Here is my opinion in a nutshell: We achieved an epic, historic, transformational victory when we created Fort Worth City Council District 11. And then the icing on the cake was the election of Jeanette Martinez!
