Kobe Bryant Killed in a Helicopter Crash

TMZ has reported that Kobe Bryant has been killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California on Sunday morning. The 41-year-old basketball star was among 5 in the helicopter crash who have all perished. Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa Bryant was reportable not on board the helicopter. He leaves behind four daughters. 


 

            Kobe Bryant made 18 all-star games. His talents were a commodity from the start of his career as a first-round pick in the 1996 NBA draft. During his 20 years he won 5 NBA championships, and many other achievements. Both of his jerseys 24 & 8 were retired- he is famously the only player to receive that honor.

Since the release of this story, police have confirmed 9 people were on board the helicopter crash. Bryant’s 13 year old daughter (Gianna Bryant) – has also been confirmed to be among the dead.
