Fort Worth, TX –As part of the oldest and largest national Latino civil rights organization, Texas LULAC District XXI Director Felix Alvarado announced today the organization’s Resolution LULAC Stands in Solidarity with Black Lives Matter.   

Mr. Alvarado said, “Latinos also have suffered at the hands of police abuse and we stand united in dismantling oppression until every black man, woman, and child in America can live free without fear.”  Alvarado added, “We will persist until equality is no longer an American dream but a reality for all.  Together we shall overcome! Si se puede.”

Texas LULAC District XXI comprises the North Texas counties of Tarrant, Parker, Palo Pinto, Erath, Hood, Johnson, and Somervell.
